A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
It’s Christmas Eve Today I can’t remember if I did this last Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I think I did. Maybe it wasn’t two days last year, but I think it was Thanksgiving and Christmas that I went into work. Usually, I can’t do any more than about twenty-four hours a week because I’m not fully retired yet, but it is almost the end of the year. So, I can work more than about twenty hours in the last couple of months each year. I may even be able to do New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, but I don’t think that I will have to do that. Most businesses are open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Officially, it’s a national holiday here in the United States, but it usually isn’t observed as one. What does today and tomorrow have to do with my writing process? It means that I’m returning to work in a few hours. That also means that I will be continuing to work on my DeathBringers scriptwriting project, aka the four Episode Three documents. I already have the Episode Three Act Breakdown finished, but I’m still working on the Story Outline. If I remember correctly from less than twenty-four hours ago, I still have about twelve sentences to write before I am finished writing my Episode Three Story Outline. After I finish writing my Episode Three Story Outline, I will start writing my sentences for my Episode Three Scene Outline. Will I get this Scene Outline done tonight and tomorrow morning? The hope that I get this Scene Outline finished during my first twelve-hour shift this week is very unlikely. Of course, I hope that I can get it all finished so that I can start working on the paragraph Story Outline during my second twelve-hour shift this week, but I don’t think that will happen. Why don’t I think this will happen? It’s because I have one hundred and fifty sentences to write before I finish writing my Scene Outline phase of this project, aka about thirty paragraphs. Of course, it’s possible to get about a hundred and sixty-two sentences written in one twelve-hour shift, but I’m not going to count on that until it happens after what has happened the last few days of this week. It isn’t only the number of hours I have to work on this project but also how much I can get done of it early this evening to early tomorrow morning. Instead of a twelve-hour shift, it will probably be more like a ten-hour shift. It’s even possible it could be a nine-hour shift, depending on how busy it gets at work this evening at work. It’s very possible it could get extremely busy during this twelve-hour shift. After all, it’s the end of Christmas Eve and the beginning of Christmas Day. There may be some latecomers coming into work so that they can spend Christmas Day with their family and friends. I can’t remember if that happened last year or not, but I think that it did. Christmas Day, when I return to work tomorrow evening at six PM WDC time to six AM WDC time, may or may not be busy. It shouldn’t be too busy Christmas day during the day, but it could be. After all, there are some drivers who still work on holidays like Christmas. There may be some of them who will be working tomorrow during the day. |
