On Christmas day
and I must say I agree
I miss my Dad and no 'thing' can make up
his absence to me.
Nowadays objects are important more for sentiment
for the person who gifted them rather than what they are
So I feel the presence through the presents
'coz the person has gone away so far.
My aunt got me a gift from abroad
She thought of me while travelling
That gives me a warm fuzzy glow
Her love for me her gift did bring
The present holds the past and the future
and the presence is priceless!
