A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Today is Christmas Day Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate Christmas today. I hope that you have a Merry Christmas. Despite my having to work yesterday evening, today, and tomorrow morning, I’m having a Merry Christmas so far. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same thing about my scriptwriting projects, aka my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. It could have been more productive. Unfortunately, I only got one hundred and twelve sentences written for this project early yesterday evening at seven PM WDC time to early this morning at six PM WDC time. That’s right, I only worked an eleven-hour shift yesterday and today because it was almost a last-minute shift, and I couldn’t get there until about seven PM WDC time yesterday evening. Instead of an eleven-hour shift during my first twelve-hour, I mean eleven-hour, shift, I only worked about nine hours early yesterday evening to early this morning. Unfortunately, that’s only about an equivalent of twenty-two paragraphs written during this shift. That’s not very good. After all, that only averages about two paragraphs every hour, and that isn’t good writing, not even for me. It should have been better. Why didn’t I get more written during this time period? There are two reasons why I didn’t get more written during this first shift at work this week. One of those reasons was the weather. It was gloomy, slightly foggy, and misty all during my shift early yesterday evening to early this morning. I know that slowed me down a little bit, but it wasn’t that bad. The second reason why I didn’t get more written during this eleven-hour shift is because of work. Unfortunately, I was right about work, especially yesterday evening. I didn’t have too many work-related issues, but I did have a few. As I result, it did slow me down a little bit when it comes to my writing. It didn’t slow me down that much, I thought. What does that mean for my Episode Three documents? It means that I still have fifty more sentences to write before I finish writing this phase of my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. Fifty sentences equals about ten paragraphs. So, I should get that done in about two to four hours. That should give me about eight to ten hours to work on my paragraphs. Of course, after I finish writing these fifty sentences, I will be ready to start working on my paragraph Story Outline for this project. How many of these paragraphs will I get written during my second twelve-hour, technically my first twelve-hour shift, early this evening to early tomorrow morning? That is a very good question. Unfortunately, I don’t have a good answer for this question. I’m hoping that I will get about twenty-one to twenty-eight paragraphs written for this episode, but I’m not going to count on that until it happens. If it’s anything like early yesterday evening and early this morning, I may be lucky if I get fourteen paragraphs written for this project. |
