A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Only Twenty, for a Reason
Only Twenty, for a Reason

I know that the twenty paragraphs that I got written during my second twelve-hour shift this last weekend, from early Sunday evening at six PM WDC time to early this morning at six AM WDC time for my movie, ‘The Final Ritual of Hummannan,’ aren’t very many paragraphs for my Story Outline. It should have been a lot more than that. Why wasn’t it more than that?

That’s a very good question. Usually, I don’t have an answer to that question, but I do somewhat this time. I didn’t get more than twenty paragraphs written for this Story Outline because of a lack of concentration. This concentration problem was caused because of the conditions where I was working while I was trying to write these paragraphs.

What do I mean by all this? It means that it was extremely cold last night and earlier today, and it’s very hard to type when you are about to freeze to death. I may be exaggerating a little bit, but I’m not exaggerating by that much. That’s how cold it was during this second twelve-hour shift.

At all my other posts that I have worked at as a Security Guard, I have had heating during the winter and cold during the summer, but at the post I’m at this winter, I don’t have that much heat. The only heater I have is an old, grey, boxed heater that doesn’t heat the Guard Shack too well.

It’s very hard to concentrate when you are trying to stay warm in a Guard Shack that doesn’t provide that much warmth. It isn’t only the lack of concentration as to the reason why I didn’t get more than twenty paragraphs written for this Story Outline. I also had a lot of problems physically writing these paragraphs because of this heating problem.

It is impossible to type when you are wearing gloves. Of course, I didn’t try to type while wearing gloves, but that’s how cold it still was in that Guard Shack. It’s also very hard to type when your fingers are still very cold because of the heating problems in that Guard Shack. How did I get these twenty paragraphs written? That’s another good question.

Getting these twenty paragraphs written while at work wasn’t easy. A lot of the blame goes to the freezing cold weather, but that isn’t the only reason. My lack of concentration was also a reason why I didn’t get more written during this twelve-hour shift at work. It should have been a lot more.

Of course, I tried to get some more of these paragraphs written today, but I didn’t get the chance to do that because it was my first day off from work. After working all night, I needed to get some sleep. As a result, I couldn’t start writing these paragraphs until I woke up.

Unfortunately, my brother and I still needed to get some things done today, and it took us almost the rest of the day to accomplish what we needed to get done. It was so late in the day that I barely had the time to write this blog entry for today. That’s how bad it was today. Unfortunately, I’m not surprised I didn’t have any time today.

Usually, because of working early Sunday evening and early Monday mornings, I don’t have too much time to do anything but get some sleep during the day on Mondays. As a result, I usually don’t have too much time to work on my writing projects. Normally, I do have a little bit of time to work on them, but that wasn’t true today.
