Sages Speak to Me

Silent words on yellowed pages
hid deep within stacks of dusty
bound books written by sages,
a reminder, my fingers are rusty.

Hid deep within stacks of dusty
journals, notes and phrases writ,
a reminder, my fingers are rusty,
impetus to never-ever quit.

Journals, notes and phrases writ,
bound books written by sages,
impetus to never-ever quit.
