There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories. |
Half Written, Half Left Unfortunately, it was a typical Saturday evening/Sunday morning twelve-hour shift at work early yesterday evening and early Sunday morning. It was a very busy day there. So busy, I only had about ten hours to work on this Short Story. Luckily, I still have five Sections/Parts written for this Short Story. That’s about two hours for each Part/Section. That isn’t very good writing, considering each Section/Part is about four to six paragraphs long. Sometimes, it is more than six paragraphs depending on how much dialog is in that Part/Section, but it usually isn’t less than four paragraphs. What does all this mean regarding this Short Story? It means that I still have five more Parts/Sections left to write before I’m finished with this Short Story. Will I get this Short Story finished tomorrow evening and Monday morning? I should get it done tomorrow evening and Monday morning, but I’m not going to count on that until it happens. I have thought that way before, and I haven’t gotten what I wanted to get done one way or another. Hopefully, that won’t happen again, but it could. Why don’t I think I need to worry about this way for this Short Story? I think I will get this Short Story written tomorrow evening and Monday morning. After all, it’s only five Sections/Parts that I need to write.
