A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Maybe, Then Again, Maybe Not What does the above blog title mean? It means that I may or may not get this phase of my scriptwriting projects done by the end of this week, aka this Friday. After all, I still have twenty-seven more paragraphs left to write on my ‘Calkin Cove’ Story Outline, aka three more Acts. That’s right, I only got eighteen more paragraphs written for this Story Outline, and I barely got those paragraphs written before I started writing this blog entry. Why didn’t I get more writing done today on these projects? What’s the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done in a day? It’s usually because of what my brother and I needed to do today. Unfortunately, today was one of those days. After all, I only had about four and a half hours to write these eighteen paragraphs. That barely equals about four paragraphs every hour, so that I could finish writing these paragraphs. Four paragraphs each hour equals about four and a half hours to write eighteen paragraphs. That equals about fifteen minutes for each paragraph every hour. That may not sound like a lot of writing, but it is to me. After all, I usually only get about the equivalent of three or four every hour anyway. Unfortunately, I will need about seven hours of writing time tomorrow to finish writing this Story Outline and this phase of my scriptwriting projects. Will I get those seven hours tomorrow? That’s very unlikely. It all depends on what my brother and I need to accomplish tomorrow. I’m sure my brother and I have a few things that we need to get accomplished tomorrow. Hopefully, it won’t take us too long to finish doing them. Unfortunately, I think that it will take us more than seven hours to finish writing this Story Outline and this phase of my scriptwriting projects. If I’m lucky, I may have about four to five hours tomorrow to finish writing these twenty-seven paragraphs for this Story Outline. That will probably let me get another eighteen paragraphs written tomorrow, aka two more Acts. That means I will have nine more paragraphs left to write. It may not be a total lose, though. After all, I may not get this Story Outline and phase done by the end of this week, aka tomorrow, but I may be able to get it done before I return to work this weekend. Why do I write that? It’s because I may be able to finish writing it on Saturday. I usually have a few hours on Saturday morning and early afternoon to work on my writing before I return to work at six PM WDC time. I should be able to get nine paragraphs written in that amount of time. Of course, that depends on how many paragraphs I get written tomorrow. If I can get two more Acts written on this Story Outline, aka eighteen paragraphs, and one more Act, another nine paragraphs, on Saturday before I return to work, I will get this Story Outline and this phase of my scriptwriting projects done. That’s a lot of ifs, though. |
