Checking in

It's been a few days since I've checked in, so I thought I'd check in.

Honestly, I've been busy with every life things. Been working at night, Sleeping all morning and doing dishes and laundry. I had last night off and I was exhausted.

Sunday night I went bowling before work. I did okay. I got 130, 170, 140 so combined, just under my average then I went to right to work. I discovered a healthy choice microwave meal I liked - Turkey Sausage Lasagna Bowl. I'm going to buy that a bit more often.

I slept Monday morning and met my bowling buddy, Sally, for lunch at the local Mexican restaurant. It was nice chatting with her outside of work, but I had today off and need to sleep before work so I'm sending my son to bowl in my place.

Today, I went to my no-tap bowling league in the morning and we won 2 out of 3 games. Then I got an oil change at my mechanics. He told me I needed 4 new tires. So I went to the local tire shop and had them price me out some tires. I ordered 4 new tires for $606.00 which is a steal in California. The brand is Kenda tires. I've never heard of them. I did a search when I got home and discovered they're a good value for the price so I'm not complaining. I have 200.00 saved in my tire envelope so I'll come out of pocket 400.00. It's a good thing I got paid today.

I found out it's the 40th Anniversary of Pretty in Pink. I that movie when it came out. Who didn't root for Ducky to get the girl? But the girl wanted Blaine but Blaine F'd it up BUT --- Blaine redeemed himself! I think I read somewhere that the original ending had Duckie getting the girl BUT it in test audiences it was boo'd so they changed it so Blaine got the girl. Clearly I wasn't in that test audience!



I did some judging for the Quills and dropped some Bard's Hall Reviews. Signed up to write a few newsletters. Time, Time, Time, See what's become of me...
