A Feel Good Entry

I'm a very lucky guy.

Just a mere hour ago I wouldn't have thought so. I was focused on the negative.

Last hour I was moaning to VW (sorry Bug) at great length how for the last few days my screens have been taking forever to load, which in turn has meant my scores for the hourly trivia quiz have been steadily getting worse and worse. I was just about to pack it in over there (at least until the screens load faster) when only just now I managed to set a personal best (despite it taking at least 5 seconds for the quiz to load).

Then I had a very nice email from someone about a trivia quiz I have at that site and when I get here I find My Wee Amanda has included me in her "Invalid Item"  and said some VERY touching things about me. Thank goodness she didn't mention anything about my drooling problem or those unfounded rumours about my public lewdness. (I'm not even sure what "lewdness" is BTW. I've led such a sheltered live. I'll bet Bug would know what it means.)

My Wee Irish Amanda...(That's quite a mouthful. Her real name is Casey)...wrote some very kind things about me. So kind in fact, they really touched me. Really some of the nicest things anybody has ever said about me. Thank you again Casey.

It doesn't take much for things to look a bit brighter does it? A few kind, carefully chosen words can make a BIG difference in another's life.

I feel all warm and gooey inside right at the moment. I'm hoping this isn't a "lewdness" kinda feeling because this is the sort of warm and gooey feeling I'd like to share with others. I have a feeling lewdness isn't a sharing kinda thing.

PS I just checked and I came in second out of 114 players in that last quiz. Life is good.
