A witch is getting married!
There's and old folk saying in in P.R. that when
a witch is getting married it rains hard but there's
plenty of sunshine. Write now, as I write I'm watching
this pretty sight wondering if this tale is true.

nah! But I wonder who started it. Superstition is
one of my favorite subjects. I live to walk under
ladders and across black cats. As a matter of fact
I think I'm the one with the bad luck.

You see every morning there was this small kitten;
all black that used to walk me down the block to my
my stop. Everyday. The other night as the girls ,
my sister and I made our way back home from the store
she seemed to have lost her way and she was following
us.

At first the girls were squealing with laughter, but
then they got serious when the cat kept trying to get
really close and she kept meowing loud. The time came
to cross the street, and to us that's a major feat,
so we have a buddy system and the girls(5) walking
one in the stroller began to make their way to the
other side of the cemetery.

All of a sudden I panicked and told my niece Kiange
to run. Which she wouldn't. I kept telling her to run
and the kitten chased after her. My niece is scare of
animals period so she ran and all of a sudden a big
SUV slammed into the por kitten! It just missed my
nieces.

I screamed at the next driver before he got closed
to the cat that was now contorting in pain. My sister
a vet. assistant rushed to see if there was anything
she could do for the cat. She said it was still
breathing although I could see blood coming out of
her little mouth. The whole thing was crazy, all the
girls were crying, heck, I was crying I hate to see
anyone dying.

My sister carried the cat to the sidewalk. It was so
limp. I gave her my baby's blanket and she wrapped her
in it. It looked so peacefully quiet. As we made our
way home I saw her mother feeding the kitten's twin.

I didn't tell you earlier because I was trying to get
over the shock. I couldn't sleep well that night.

It was harder on my sis. She works saving pets all
day long and to loose one was very painful. Now she's
trying to be there for a friend of ours that in the
terminal stage of cancer. I'm, trying to figure out
how can I help her cope with everything. I'm afraid
she's gonna blow after is all over. See you guys.
