When tragedy strikes

I chose red for this blog in hope that if you guys
read my blog it would stay in your subconciousness. Yesterday
was not a good day for me. Aside from my computer doing
whatever she wants (IT is a GIRL), I got some terrible news
from some relatives.

After months of not knowing about his health,my uncle Ignacio or Iggy,
finally answered the phone yesterday.
He had a massive stroke a few months back due to his diabetes.
Although much of his bodily functions make living
very hard ,he has always been very independent.

Sadly , on his last medical check up ...he turn out to have..prostate cancer. I don't know exactly how bad it is.
My Mom told me he wanted to get treated right away and
although he checked all the places he could ave gotten treatment from, none had space for him.

So now, he's sitting on a time bomb, all alone. He is only
59. Still young when you compare my family's longevity.
Heck, my greatgrandma was 107. My Grandmother is 86 and she
insist onliving on her own in a huge house in P.R.

I also like to take a couple of minutes to send my prayers
and deepest condolesces to my Mothers close friend M. who
passed away, unfortunately a victim of cervical cancer.

Please people get tested. You have no idea how important it is to seek help if you notice anything abnormal with your breast (lumps, leakage, pain?) including your underarms.

Always have your yearly PAP's smear for irregular cell growth.I have since I was eighteen, because my other grandmother also died of cancer.
It spread from her cervix , into her uterus and to her intestines.Colonoscopy for those who are
50 + or present a higher risk.

* Dayanara Torres former Miss Universe had a portion cut out because of a blockage. Prevent.

Men beware. Colon cancer happens when the guys are to embarrased to have a guy probe their anus. Grow up! My sister and I take care of a guy , H., who is dying as I write because the cancer has spread all over his body.

A man who is barely in his mid-60's is bleeding out his
urine and feces because he neglected the signs.
If you suffer from severe constipation and have hemorroids you have to get checked out.

This causes small tearings that get infected with the passage of feces. With continuous re-ocurrence small polyps grow attached to the intestine.Polyps may or may not be benign , but why take the chance?
*Strawberry had it. Torre suffered it. Don't be next.

WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!DON'T WAIT UNTIL IT WANTS TO INTRODUCE
ITSELF TO YOUR LOVE ONES!.
