Read Biting the Moon then its brand-new sequel, Dakota. Learned about factory farms and animal abuse in way graphic detail, but also read the writing of a fiction master.


Then I read Cold Flat Junction, a chilling investigation by a 12-year-old girl in unusual circumstances of a murder occurring 50 years ago (though only she acknowledged it as murder and not unforeseen tragic accident). That's the sequel to Hotel Paradise, which I'm awaiting on library request.


Yesterday started on the Richard Jury series by Ms. Grimes, currently at 19 entries. I read The Winds of Change and began The Grave Maurice. Working backwards again lol.
