Sitting in silence

"Sometimes it is good to sit in silence so that you may hear naught but the sound of your heart. And to listen to what it says is wisdom for it cannot be false unto you. My heart says to gather courage and find hope. To do this shall give me the strength necessary to take the next step forward and all those that follow. It shall give me the will to rule myself and to not be ruled by others. It will lend me the wisdom to discern wise council from foolish utterance. It shall set me free and, in this freedom, I shall rise like a wave against the storm that is life. All this I shall have from sitting in silence and simply listening to my heart.
