march is History for Women
News Alert: March is Women's History Month. I didn't know there was such a thing. A reason to party!

Two tidbits that might interest readers of wdc:
Marie Curie was the first woman to receive a Nobel prize, for physics in 1903.
Edith Wharton was the first woman to receive a Pulitzer prize, for The Age of Innocence in 1921.
