Singing Wind At six in the evening as the sun sets in the east and birds fly away to their nests I hear the softly singing wind. Its melody is heartening it carries tales of sorrow and joy it carries the very essence of life. Captivating is its compassionate song. Anger and passion are what I listen to in the wind that blows with a tornado. Love and charity are what I perceive in the gentle wind that lingers. The lilting singing wind in the dawning hour tells me of its liaison with the leaves on trees. Its forceful tune across the mountain ridge soothes my tired self, fills me with renewed joy. Lines:16 |
