Contest Enties

#791757 added September 17, 2013 at 11:00pm
Restrictions: None

You will not get old
Your thoughts, never cold
There’s warmth in your heart
With happiness your day starts.

There’s a twinkle to your eyes
Rainbows decorate your skies
You can’t understand anger
You’d rather put it on a hanger.

You do your duty with devotion
Without pressure or commotion.
You choose your vocation with care
The desire to have more cannot snare.

You spread smiles in rain and sunshine
You kindle gladness and the climate’s fine
Your humility and compassion lend charm
Those in your vicinity are away from harm.

Open prompt-Day 13, the final day of the contest.

Won Third Place in Kasia's Writing.Com. 13th Birthday Poetry Contest.
