Full moon and madness.

October - Friday - 18th @ 1.38 is the official full-moon moment.

Nothing important except the Basset who popped in frequently this week. His friend, the Sheepdog, also showed his face for a short visit.

The summer is turning into a disaster zone, as rain has not fallen much.
Drought is now official here.
This week saw 10 mm on the farm and 3 mm on the hobby farm. (25 mm = 1 inch)
We will have to teach the young frogs how to swim.

Each home suffers its own madness and/or habits.
Here I am the boss, I get to make all the most important decisions, see that the doors are locked, and lights are off before we sleep.
The better half said I could.
I can say ''I am the boss.''

The words - midlife crises - is used.
Evaluating one's life and a midlife crises are not on the same table, altho, the one may influence the other.
When one evaluates life, some form of action is expected - hopefully of a positive kind.
A midlife crises is a situation where the word control is not in sight - hence; crises.
It is not the end, it is a crises that needs control and re-direction.
Once it is under control, a new life has to be dealt with, and evaluation would be a good thing here.

Again, an over simplification of a highly complex issue.
Never underestimate the importance or impact of a midlife crises.
This can be a very telling time in the lives of the people involved.

The official color for this month is pink.
South Africa has declared this month as - Breast Cancer month.

25th @ 8pm onwards, rain started falling. 35mm was measured the next morning
- thereby officially breaking the current drought.

The frogs are a singing, zillions of them, soon they will be going a frogging.
Many more frogs will join the food chain - eat and/or be eaten.

And the snails came out of their slumber; not all.
So far it is only the brown garden snails which are eating.
