Hi everybody, I must say that I really love today's prompt:

LIFE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY

Well now where do I begin. I have been there, seen that and done that. My secrete is, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, looking both ways, I cheat! Being a survivor at heart, a person that has lived in the mountains for months at a time. I have a generator. I just haul that puppy out, hook it it up and I am good to go. Lately though, I have acquired a habit that I cannot do without: my computer. So when I am forced into that situation I have to pick my hours in respect of my neighbors.

It is a nuisance but it is survivorable. Ice chests, wood for burning, cooking stove, blankets, candles, and a lantern is all that is needed.
