Old and new poems and fiction. |
| Dark Night Dawning Dark night dawning Hope wings into my life time to end the days of strife. The dark alleys I roamed turn to pages of delightful poems. Music on the windy waves merges with my spirit, saved. Moonlight spreads on hills and dales releases the soul from nightmare’s jail. Dark nights dawn on a note of light spilling across the sky colors bright. Leaves on the trees wear a new green flowers and buds attain a novel sheen. The meandering stream spins a sweet song Its fall-rise reflects life’s rights and wrongs. With the sound of silence filling my mind I know, in a short while things will be fine.
