Point Of View

What is point of view? How do you find that perfect voice in your story? Do you agree with how the author explained it? Do you prefer a particular tense when writing?

I tend to write in the first person quite often. My favorite genre to write is non-fiction. It depends on what I'm writing about that makes me decide what point of view to write from.

I think the author of the article Witchy Yule Woman directed us to did an amazing job explaining the different types of point of view. I, certainly, learned something new from reading it. Although, I was aware of what point of view is. I wasn't aware there's so many different types. I may read some of the books recommended just to see the difference in the writing. It may help improve my own writing. Thanks very much, Witchy Yule Woman for this prompt I'm going to learn some much needed information from it!
