The Winds of the Spirit blow

The winds of the Spirit blow. Prior to this day I was deep in grief, wondering if I could ever get past it. At this moment a new adventure beckons me. There are some scriptures in John chapter 3 that talk about the spirit blowing wherever it will. I awoke today in a different spirit of wanting to revive and share with others what this reviving infilling is all about.

One of my realities is that a church is interested in me. I do not even know what that could mean. It is exciting. I am more at peace since I spoke at a funeral about how there was a man, Gene that allowed me to be comfortable in whatever work I did. In the midst of the funeral I had an "aha" experience. The jobs that consumed my time and energy were inherently spiritual. I was a care giver learning to be a more able caring presence. I could not think of a better way to share how I see God at work. As a security guard I am constantly looking at what makes people know that they are safe and in so doing learning how to be safer. Inherent in the word safe is salvation. I want others to know that they are safe and that means they have ACCESS to a relationship that others can only crave for. So I go forth in the way of God trusting that things can only be better in God's time!!!
