#10 for Napowrimo

The Lord has Risen

He walked so far with cross on his back


He was beaten unmercifully in a brutal attack





The Jews said not to set him free


But the women cried to let him be





Jesus was taken and nailed to a tree


For all of the people to see





Easter morning he did arise


To everyone’s surprise





He showed himself to the apostles


As this was one of his best miracles





We now celebrate this day


And to that man do we pray.
