Day fifteen ~ Chapters
This morning I was standing outside with my pup while she did her duties and while I stood there I noticed the sun was warmer. The fallen snow from yesterday is melting, but leaving just enough on the trees to glisten like diamonds. Stunningly beautiful.

Anyway I had a chat with my son yesterday about his concerns of his health and the way his life is headed. As a mom we have to keep that positive thinking going. I related because I have the same worries as his mother, "can't say that though" right?

Our lives are our own chapters of a path that leads to the very end. The last chapter. We all end up the same way. Yet how would you story go? I think we all have a say as to where our story takes us.

There is an exposition, characters of many. Some the villian and the hero. Rising action and the plot. Falling action with resolution.

We sometimes have no control of our lives but like a writer and the ability to see ahead, we have control how the plot thickens. We can rise above obstacles and shine as we should. I want control of how my last chapter ends. I won't end up sad, lonely, depressed, not forgiven, in doubt or scared.
I will be proud of my chapters in my life. I will end up being my own hero of my story. I will write of how I lived through the eyes of a human being who walked a path of living life. The bad the good, the sad and the not so bad.

We may not be able to capture every moment and change it before it happens but we do have control as to how we handle it. Those are the moments to write about.

What will your last chapter say?
