119 words 21 lines My Girl Cooty-brown By Lisa Noe You were a sweet little girl Half chawhoawhoa and half pug You were a little funny looking But I loved you anyway. You were took to soon from me I found you suffering by the side Of the road. I don’t know what Happened, if a larger dog got you Or a car. I just know my heart is broken. You are no more in my life. I buried you beside your brothers Near the garden side. I shall never forget You---special as you could be. Nothing or no one was ever as happy As you seemed. You’d bounce around And hop on my knees you always knew how To please. |
