Don’t want to say goodbye

You may be leaving me soon and I’ll miss you.
I know things are up in the air, it is up to you,
You don’t realize your actions tell the story.
Please stay with me, I can’t bare to see you leave.
I know you love me, you show me so each day.
At night we hold each other with delight.
And by day you are my sweetest friend.
But the habits you have developed must end,
I need to know, on you I can depend.
Please stop! Don’t ruin our life together.
I don’t want you to leave.
It would break my heart.
To see you go.
Please stay
with me
now.
