We've experienced triple digit days here in Las Vegas. It' about time for the monsoonal moister to arrive so we'll be experiencing triple digit days with high humidity. Write a recipe for a Summer Cooler. It can be drink, food, or any other way you cool down on days with high humidity and triple digit temperatures:

We have been experiencing triple temperatures here in Bakersfield, Ca as well. We are expected to COOL to a nice 98. The two things that have had a lot of the last 3 weeks are my favorites:

Cold Root Beer Floats

Take a tall glass or mug fill with vanilla ice cream. Pour cold root beer over it, top with whip cream and a cherry - YUM!

Ambrosia -
Take a can of mixed fruit, drain the juice place in a cold bowel. Mix about a quarter cup of sweet coconut add about a quarter cup of pecans Add whip cream and mini marshmellows to your liking and enjoy!
