October 11th Bonus Assignment

Character Voice:
My name is Isabella Temperance Daring. I’m an irish immigrant. I moved to America when I was three but I still remember the folk music played in the countryside at night. My parents try to keep up the tradition but with two boys and two girls and a farm, it’s difficult. My family is very close and I’m the only one who works outside the home. I work as a maid at Drakkon’s estate but I hope to one day write. It’s better than the factories for now but I really want to be a journalist like my Aunt Ida. She lives in a big apartment in the city, whereas I have a small place, setup, of course, by Drakkon’s estate to stay in. It’s a one bedroom but it has a little extra room for a desk and writing, so I’m happy. Writing is my passion and something my Aunt Ida says will come to me someday if I keep practicing and submitting. Of course, I submit under a pen name because I’m really not interested in letting Drakkon know I aspire to be a writer. He’s a bad un that one and I don’t know how I’d handle him if he offered me something I want so much. Anyway, my Aunt Ida says my writing is strong and that I’ll get there someday.
