It's a nutty day for me today
Not a thing has gone my way
I guess I need to kneel and pray
I try to live my life that way.

There are days I feel down
I know I need not wear a frown
I simply smile like a clown
When trouble engulfs me like a gown.

There is no need for me to worry
I need not rush and try to hurry
All my troubles will soon scurry
My speak need not be all slurry.

I know that God is in control
When it comes apart He makes it whole
Stress need not take a toll
God's banner waves from my flag pole!
