Ever since I was a little girl, reading was my favorite past time. Reading to me was my friend that didn't need a reply, we never bickered or quarreled. Instead, reading became the elusive wonderful dream you have right before you wake. I never felt like I needed to rush when I read something. I would sit in my Grandpas dinner table and read the newspaper to him when I was just 3 years old. It was interesting to get his feedback on some notice or another. I realized I looked forward to his hmph. It meant he did not agree with the so many of the political views or the latest crime situation. The were very serious news when I was a little kid and my Grandpa apparently thought so too because soon I was reading Latin comics like, Memin, Lulu, and the Classics like Archie, Garfield, Popeye, to name a few. I feel in love with story telling. Before a person can become a great writer he must excel at storytelling my Gramps once told me. So I spent a copious amount of time inventing fibs and story worthy of the greatest adventures.

My first stories were based of things that I was fascinated by, like mermaids, faeries and unicorns. I always made sure to include some art work which was possibly my second most favorite. I even attended art school. My love for telling a story comes from family tradition. That's how my culture keeps folklore alive. By passing down stories about our members, our backgrounds, our history and heritage. To listen and remember details and timing. Timing is soooo important. Can't stress it enough. It all boils down to me to delivering a story that is so phenomenal that if it didn't happen it would start theories, and if it did; it would have to be debunked.

When I found Writing.com I was surprised that such a site existed. I had been asking my friends for such a place and most had their own places they favored but they didn't quite fit me. So I searched and EUREKA! it's been 12 years of very slow but steady growth. I lost access to my account for a very long time and so most of my work is in my home computer. Writing.com thank you for existing, for allowing me to be a part of something that could be a lost art. Thank you for your Support!
