Daily entries about my thoughts and experiences. |
Hello again! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacations and that those of you that enjoy the beach and theme parks have the best time ever. As I told you before we went away last weekend to Tampa and to my surprise ended up in Busch Gardens. It was an incredible experience as far as the animals are concerned. As far as the crowds, my friend picked the wrong weekend. First weekend out of school in SoFLo and everybody and their mothers were out there. The line for food were not as long with a 15 min wait. But the rides?! the wait was one hr plus. The fact that we made a 1.5 hr wait for Falcon fury to be told it was to be shut down when we waited that long was devastating. We did get into another roller coaster. Since we had the all day food pass we were able to eat at least at 3 different restaurants and it was pretty decent portions. The food was nice and hot considering that the amount of patrons is huge. Towards the end of our park day we saw falcon fury was actually no line no wait and we ended up higher than I've ever been with a height of 335lb. At which point, they switched you from vertical to horizontal facing what your brain is processing as your last view of Earth and at least 20 seconds ticked by with your heartbeat a drumming in your ears. All thought escapes and you plummet in what must be 10 seconds and then are turned facing the sky while you realize you only took one breath to scream. I admit I closed my eyes because I really thought I would die. It was one of those moments in life I consider AMAZING. |
