This week is focused on National Days. *Ha* Starting with today, which is National Frappe Day ! Do you prefer your drinks hot or cold? What kind of blended drinks do you like?

Well, I guess since I 'stretched' yesterdays prompt to fit what I wanted to write about, I guess I will stay on point today! I will stick to the subject Brother Nature . (It's my blog and I'll write what I want to, write what I want to, write what I want to)

I don't really have a preference for either hot or cold drinks on a regular basis. It really depends on my mood and the weather.

On the really cold mornings in Rochester, I usually stop at Dunkin and get an xl hot coffee. But not just any coffee, it needs to have the flavorings in it. In the fall, I get the maple pecan flavor, and for the holidays it is peppermint mocha. That is unless Dunkin comes out with some other yummy flavor. I really do not like pumpkin spice, anything! A couple days a go I ordered a maple pecan hot coffee on the way to work and because the coffee was so hot I didn't try it until half way there. Sure enough, they made it pumpkin spice, since I NEEDED the caffeine I suffered through it , but DAMN that was nasty!

In the Spring, Dunkin brings out ice cream flavors which are wonderful! I really enjoy the butter pecan flavor, but sometimes I get either the cookie dough or pistachio flavors. These go well in the iced coffee but if the weather changes, I will get a hot coffee then as well.

The best thing about Dunkin is I had a gift card from a few years ago and I put the app on my phone. After you use the app a certain amount of times and accumilate points, you can get a free drink, of ANY value. That is when I get the expensive drinks. Usually, it is as frozen coffee but sometimes in the winter I will get a latte.

I would drink them more often but I don't like spending that much money, so I use auto pay on the app. Each month I put $15 on the card. When the money is gone so are my coffee runs! The Vet Office I work at does have a Keurig so I at least get my caffeine fix when I need it! My favorite k-cup is the Donut Shop Cream Puff flavor coffee. I don't need to add any cream to it, but I still use a ton of sugar!
