Thankfulness

Thankful hearts and thankful minds
reduce life's misery.
In sadness we run for the blinds,
that no one us will see.

We thank the Lord for days of grace
upon this earthly sod.
The Gift of Christ did full replace
indebtedness to God.

We thank you, Lord, for family, friends,
who fill our lives with love.
We hope, that when the skies do rend,
we'll fellowship Above.

Thanks be to God for yearly day
to turn our hearts to praise.
May all the mouths when open say,
"Praise God for Hope to raise!"
