UPDATED INTRO 30 JUNE 2025:

Just a little about me. I've been married for 33 years this past NOV and currently live in Southern California, but I grew up in New Hampshire.

I've got 2 boys who are young adults.

I work as a 911 dispatcher for LAPD. I enjoy my job a lot. Still. If you can believe that.

I love to write. Thankfully both of my boys achieved Eagle Scout. My Scouting days are over and I'm back to focusing on my writing.

I like to get out in nature, drink coffee and watch football.

Here's a little bio about my zodiac.

GEMINI: Gemini, the sign of the Twins, is dual-natured, elusive, complex and contradictory. On the one hand it produces the virtue of versatility, and on the other the vices of two-facedness and flightiness. The sign is linked with Mercury, the planet of childhood and youth, and its subjects tend to have the graces and faults of the young. When they are good, they are very attractive; when they are bad they are more the worse for being the charmers they are. Like children they are lively, and happy, if circumstances are right for them, or egocentric, imaginative and restless.

Their good qualities are attractive and come easily to them. They are affectionate, courteous, kind, generous, and thoughtful towards the poor and suffering - provided none of the activities resulting from expressing these traits interferes too greatly with their own lives and comforts.

Geminians can be successful in many walks of life though their general characteristics tend to make them unreliable. They are often skilled manipulators of language, in speech and writing, and may be: debaters, diplomats (though in politics they are more interested in theory than practice), orators, preachers (brilliant rather than profound), teachers, authors, poets, journalists, or lawyers.

We all managed to get to San Juan Islands in Washington State. Lyn's a Witchy Woman Author IconMail Icon drove the Party Bus this time because SandraLynn Author IconMail Icon ran out of Red Bull and we didn’t get to the 7-11 store and recharge the 64 oz Big Gulp in time.

Mind you it was overcast and a tad misty today, so we all wore our raincoats. Washington State is a pretty overcast state and it rains a lot here which probably explains why all the plants are extra green and the coffee beans are the best this side of the Mississippi.

We signed up for this awesome whale watching, orcas, dolphins tour. I love watching orcas or as they are more familiarly known as “Killer Whales.” Heck, the last time I went to Sea World in San Diego in 2014. I got to have dinner with Shamoo. My Iphone’s video and camera were ready for some good pics! I was gonna beat Krista Author IconMail Icon in the Instagram wars today.

The boat ride was the best ever. We saw two big humpback whales and one splashed the boat with his tail and got us all wet. Thank goodness we were wearing raincoats! The dolphins came up right alongside the boat and Princess Megan Rose Author IconMail Icon got to pet a few. I was jelly because every time I tried they swam off, but maybe it was because those pelicans were pestering them. The Orcas showed up and did a couple of tricks for the boat. The best part was watching the Eagles dive into the water and come out with some really big fat salmon. The eagles were feasting tonight.

Then we went to the Whale Museum. That was kinda cool and I tried to channel my inner marine biologist for a YouTube video but I sounded like a dork. Jellyfish Author IconMail Icon was very impressed with the big skeletons. AmyJo-Moving day's soon here Author IconMail Icon stocked up on Washington State stickers for her Nalgene.

We saw Mt. Rainer in the distance. Sung'manitu Author IconMail Icon gave a 15 minute TED talk on how Mt. Rainer was a bad ass volcano back in the day.

Afterword, we went to Seattle and saw the Space Needle. It’s kinda neat looking, but that’s about it. WakeUpAndLive Author IconMail Icon wanted to check out the coffee scene in Seattle and after our whisky snort yesterday, Lyn's a Witchy Woman Author IconMail Icon and me were up for some coffee.

We ended the day at Pam’s Kitchen and tried the Trinidad food. It was delish!

We’re off to see the Old Dominion state. Personally speaking, I think “Old Dominion” is just as bas ass a state motto as New Hampshire’s which IS the BEST – “Live Free or Die.” *Smile*

SandraLynn Author IconMail Icon was told she couldn’t drive the Party Bus right up to George Washington’s mansion, so we had to park in the boonies and walk ½ mile to the house. I love history so I was totally into everything. I dragged my ass everywhere, taking my time. Jellyfish Author IconMail Icon really wasn’t a big George Washington fan being from the UK and SandraLynn Author IconMail Icon wasn’t too impressed either being Canadian, but hey, someone like George had to do the dirty work of leading the Continental Army. I will say both of them seemed impressed with George Washington’s dentures.

Sung'manitu Author IconMail Icon, WakeUpAndLive Author IconMail Icon , and Princess Megan Rose Author IconMail Icon loved walking around the farm and seeing the animals. Princess Megan Rose Author IconMail Icon pet all the sheep. She wanted to take one home, but then thought better of it. She didn’t want Peyton to get too sniffy around it.

Krista Author IconMail Icon and AmyJo-Moving day's soon here Author IconMail Icon took a couple of minutes to take a time out and smell the fresh cut grass as they watch the Potomac River. There were a couple of eagles trying to catch fish which fascinated them.

Me and Lyn's a Witchy Woman Author IconMail Icon were really interested in George Washington’s Distillery and Gristmill. Honesty, the old fashioned way to distilling looks like an art.

Lyn's a Witchy Woman Author IconMail Icon charged up her emergency hooch bottle and I snuck a couple of personal sizes out in my Kate Spade purse.

We all went to the Mt. Vernon Inn for dinner.

Sung'manitu Author IconMail Icon insisted on trying the Hoecake appetizers. Jellyfish Author IconMail Icon wanted the fried green tomatoes to go with her salad. Heck, I was game for the Peanut soup. I can honestly say there were some interesting menu items on the menu! Princess Megan Rose Author IconMail Icon AmyJo-Moving day's soon here Author IconMail Icon WakeUpAndLive Author IconMail Icon SandraLynn Author IconMail Icon Krista Author IconMail Icon kept it safe and got the Turkey Pot Pie. When everyone wasn’t looking, Lyn's a Witchy Woman Author IconMail Icon and me had a sip of the bootleg whiskey we smuggled out of the distillery. After a nostril spitting gag and a some choking noises we managed to convince Sung'manitu Author IconMail Icon that the Heimlich maneuver was not needed.

I would definitely go back to Virginia again!
