I had a stuffed elephant too! He name was Floppy Ears. I loved Floppy Ears so much, but then my mom through him away when I was at school one day. Years of therapy ensue.

Oh, Pensive got here first! I do welcoming also. So, welcome! My blog didn't get moving until after a couple months and then someone blabbed to others and I started getting comments and reading other people's blogs and well ... it can mushroom!

Groups have strengths and weaknesses. Belong to two groups? And take the stories back and forth?

In the end it is always your work.

I listen ... sometimes ... to opinions about my poetry. I take the god constructive comments and discard the rest.

In the end there usually is an audience out there that will like it, as well as many people who won't.

Know thy audience; know thy self.

But the bright side is no more diapers!! No more early mornings filled with the sounds of "mommy, I'm wet."

Ah well, looking back and smelling the roses often means forgetting what smells were actually there!

Couldn't be too bad to have a pet elephant. Other than the tons of food, the giant piles of..well, and the complaints from the neighbors. It should be a breeze!!
Besides, then you can ride instead of walk!!
