This is my second Blog on WDC. The first Blog, Random Thoughts, is finished and done and I loved almost every minute I spent doing it.

This blog will be somewhat different than the first because I want to use this space for my humor and my memories. The humor may sometimes fall flat and the memories may, at times be boring, but isn't that the way it is with life.

Please join me here and partake in these pieces of me and if sometimes you find the jokes unfunny or the memories dull, then please come back another day and maybe you will find something to your liking. After all, like my daddy always
said: "Some days you get the bear, some days the bear gets you."

I hate following CC. He is such an eloquent word-slinger. After he writes something, I'm just left scratching my head, wondering what more there is to say. Well, the scratching my head part is true.

I heard something said this weekend that seems appropriate. It's a simple enough thought, and probably been said to death, but I think it bears repeating. For those of us who set goals, it's fine and dandy to say Huzzah when we reach that goal. But for those of us who are always trying to grow as human beings, another goal begins to lurk on the horizon. It's then we realize all we have done to reach this point is simply practice for the next one. Then when we reach that next one, it's just been more practice as we strive to reach another one.

So, congratulations on reaching your goal for this blog. Sit back, drink a cup of coffee, and bask in the glow of accomplishment. It won't be long until you begin the next leg of your journey and realize this has just been more practice. Quite frankly, I can't wait to see what you come up with next, my friend.

Glad to see you say another is coming along! I was gonna stomp my feet and throw things at you, otherwise. Of course, they'd have a hard time reaching you, but you know what I mean.

So, uh.. if you're stopping at 500 that gives me time to try to pass you in the rankings if I go to 750, LOL! Yeah, still not likely, but anyway...
