There is hardly anything as pretty as a new fallen snow. However, I choose to keep the Norman Rockwell snow in my heart and avoid any real snow after living in it for 8 plus years in Utah. Clearing off walks, driveways, cars and steps, I am good with its beauty.

It is ghastly. I can't even step a foot outside because it's all ice. It was in single digits this morning. I can't even get out to start my car. So harsh!

I am glad you have power. I am thankful for having it so the house isn't a freezer.

I am exhausted from the anxiety and fear.

Tonight we are supposed to go down below zero. I only have a heat pump and over the weekend it wasn't getting above 58. Luckily, upstairs is a bit warmer - low 70s.

This is a rough winter!!

Happiness In Discovering

Prompt:You can't find happiness in material things. You find happiness in discovering.

I do enjoy material things. I love jewelry and shopping. I enjoy clothes and nice things. Discovering. Like discovering what? A new country? Science? God and Jesus. Each and every day. Animals getting happy endings. Not being abused. The President caring about the US. Friends and family. No diseases. No bad things happening. To me, this is happiness. Love. Peace. Material things, too. To me, this is happiness.
