I know, my friend. It's always difficult and sad when there's a "first" holiday, birthday, Christmas...all those days missing someone. I understand. It happened after my mom died, and this year, her sister. She was very close to me.

I love looking at old pictures, too. I don't like the idea of storing pictures in a cloud. I wonder if that really is a forever thing. But then, is anything forever? Pictures that can be held in the hand are the best to me! {e:heart]

Happiness In Discovering

Prompt:You can't find happiness in material things. You find happiness in discovering.

I do enjoy material things. I love jewelry and shopping. I enjoy clothes and nice things. Discovering. Like discovering what? A new country? Science? God and Jesus. Each and every day. Animals getting happy endings. Not being abused. The President caring about the US. Friends and family. No diseases. No bad things happening. To me, this is happiness. Love. Peace. Material things, too. To me, this is happiness.
