I love purple too. I often dye my hair Lavendar, though it has been violet as well! Purple is also the colour of magic; witches often have purple doors... I'm going to have a purple door as soon as I have my own house!!
My mother was my best friend, too. You have lots of wonderful memories of spending time together. I hope and pray that is comforting as it has been for me.
We took the cat to the Vet. This time she didn't get a chance to hide from us. She got a blood test. She was uneasy today and wanted to eat. I worry about her. I hope she is calmer tomorrow.
We finally got rain. We are getting rain the next 2 days.
