To my beloved husband, and very best friend Eric Wharton Author Icon
You are my greatest treasure and I love you. *Heart*

I am happily married and my life has been abundantly blessed with a wonderful loving family. My blog is about the tapestry of two lives that God has permanently woven together by His love and our journey through our many trials, triumphs, and the God-size miracles we have witnessed throughout our daily lives with our strong faith in Christ.

Do you have a “thing” that you do? I have many idiosyncrasies, but not to the point of having an excessive Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), but just little things that drives my own self batty. It seems everyone I know has some kind of hang-ups, what are yours? Mine are…

*Bullet*Bath towels and wash cloths must be folded a certain way with the little tags tucked in, no two same colors can be together.

*Bullet*Dishes must be matching and lined up together in the cabinets.

*Bullet*Uneven/crooked pictures hanging bothers me.

*Bullet*The phone must ring twice before I answer it.

*Bullet*Cabinet doors and drawers must be closed.

*Bullet*Clocks must be synchronized.

*Bullet*All clothes hung in the closet must face left.

*Bullet*Chairs/Barstools must be pushed up to the table/bar.

*Bullet*I feel like I must always have large quantities of laundry and dishwashing detergent on hand. (Today I have 12 bottles of each).

Fess up, what are your hang-ups?

My heart is saddened today by the news from Patrick Swayze’s reps stating he was diagnosed in late January with terminal cancer. According to the reports he is suffering from pancreatic cancer
and that the cancer has spread to other organs.

I heard on the news that patients with this cancer have less than a five percent chance of survival.
I sure hope he’s in that five percent group that can beat the odds.

I’ve always admired his work. He is such a great actor and I loved him in Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Roadhouse, and Point Break. Since a teenager I've always been crazy about Swayze.

There are conflicting stories about his prognosis online and on different stations on television, regardless I wish him well and pray he recovers.

May God bless him.
