You are my greatest treasure and I love you. *Heart*

I am happily married and my life has been abundantly blessed with a wonderful loving family. My blog is about the tapestry of two lives that God has permanently woven together by His love and our journey through our many trials, triumphs, and the God-size miracles we have witnessed throughout our daily lives with our strong faith in Christ.

The invisible, mischievous, WDC ghost named Murphy appeared yesterday at our home and tried his best to wreck havoc by turning everything upside down. Thankfully the unseen phantom's visit was short lived and things are on the way back to some sense of normalcy on the home front. It takes a power outage sometimes to make us realize just how much we do appreciate having electricity, without it we had no running water, lights, heat, or Internet service.

After rereading my blog entry from last night, it’s no wonder I wasn't making much sense at all with my words. I was totally exhausted, and it had been total insanity around here.

Thank goodness today the sickly patient has described his illness as just horrible, at least that’s a step up from the double horrible description from yesterday. Maybe there is hope.

I’ve spent most of my day trying to avoid the germs while he slept by playing with Zachary downstairs. I was also able to spend some quality time chatting online with Skyler. He said that Iraq doesn’t observe daylights savings time, so now we’re only 7 hours time-wise apart. He’s tired of working 7 days a week. It’s a crying shame those soldiers never get a day off and are required to work a minimum of 60 hours each week.

We were happy to hear from Adam, he was all excited as he has received a promotion at work to become an Inspector for the sprinkler system company he works for. It makes a parent feel good whenever their children are doing well for themselves. Hopefully soon Adam will be certified and can get his license.

I’m snuggled up on the couch with my box of Kleenex watching ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition television show, and afterwards I will watch Oprah’s The Big Give. I’m sure I’ll need the tissues before these shows are over.

How’s your day going, has Murphy visited you lately?
