Please excuse Ms. Cissy from being absent from
classes for the first part of this week due to,
lack of brain function, confused, out of touch
with the real world, and completely Brain Dead!
Plus she had the stomach flu.
Hi ALL, well... I think that I left all of that information up long enough, don't ya think? Yep, thought so
Welcome to my confused state of mind, my ups, downs and ranting about everything in general
I'll try not to rant much.... yeah right! ... and if you believe that, you'll believe anything!

Be Well ALL of my WDC Family and Friends here. I love you ALL Sooooo much!!!
Peace, love and happiness to all whom enter here. " Mitakuye Or sin " = " We are all related "
Thank You both Webwitch and Emeraldawn for your kind comments and how that you both see the good in which the Natives also gave of themselves as well in the service. Yes...I am a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. I joined under my Dad who served in Korea and the oldest brother who served in Vietnam. Dad as you have gotten to know me was 100% Native American, no mix. Mom was the one who was a mix. I do know of the wind talkers...they helped save our United States. And all it was, was the real Natives talking their own language so that the enemy could not understand...so we were of some good after all huh ?
Love you both! Remember 11-11-11...that is 11th month, 11th day, & the 11th Hour in which we all celebrate and pay honor to those who have fallen and served in our dear service. I always take part in it, no matter what shape I am in. It is a very important time. Be well, and many blessings to you both!
Cissy
Thank you for sending Newsletter. This week the movable, Vietnam Memorial is in Monroe, Louisiana. I think they said that it is one fifth the size of the original in Washington, but it is identical. They are having special Veteran's Day celebrations there. This morning, I thought, "I may just have to take the time to go see this, I may never have the chance again." This evening at 7 p.m. I open WDC and find this newsletter. I now know that I WILL go tomorrow. And I will honor all my relations and yours who passed in valor and strength and honor.
Yes, they need to be thanked for all they have done for us. I am a mother of a disabled veteran, and I am blessed by her service as well as all of these veterans who have served our country with pride and courage.
Thank you for your service to our country! Never get tired of saying this to a veteran and especially keep it in mind this Veteran's Day.
allllrighttyyyy then!!!! Now you are being just a little too much like me, lol!!! After my first divorce I couldn't stay still either...okayyy..twin...now this is really weird! But I have to say in all honesty??? I love it! You might think I'm feed ya a line of crap, but you will see in person and it's gonna freak the Doc out! when he see us acting just alike in front of his own face...ROFLMAF! When I was young, we never moved out of the state. I vowed that I was going places and seeing things outside my state, so when I was a young, divorced adult with a child and a widow mother, we moved to Illinois. then all the other travels came when I got tired of being in one place -- so yeah, I've got that gypsy blood in me, too!!
Guess what?! I can cook all of that and your French foods, (the real french) and the Italian too...I had a person who grew up in Jersey and I cooked an Italian meal for them and they ask was I Italian...lol...that was so funny! Me Italian?! I don't even look Italian. My ex was Half Italian and Half Cherokee mixed...man what a person! hahahahaha
You sound like my family...I thought at one time we were gypsies,
I've been all the way over to Cali. and Vegas, was in Alberq. New Mexico, Amarillo Tx., Little Rock Ark, Oklahoma, up to Illinois, Cherokee N.C. , BlueRidge Mountian Ga., Atlanta, Ga, Lived all over Tennessee, and north Alabama, now sourthen Alabama, hahahaha, been to Bluegreen, Ky....and lived in most of those places as well as Lakeland, Fl....and haillll yea, we're getting hungry now,
I'm a "Yankee" born in MA, who moved to Illinois -- near Chicago, then moved to the Houston, Texas area, then up to Wyoming -- from there I moved to California, then back to MA and now between MA and Florida. I moved a lot! So I love Tex-Mex, Mexi-Cali, Southern delights as well as hella fine steak and ribs and a slow cookin' brisket in Texas.
Plus, I am French-Italian and do a lot of ethnic cooking. Are we all getting hungry yet?!!!
LOL, he doesn't know what he's missing, expecially when a really born and raised Southerner cooks them lol...he'd never know what they were if I made my cheese grits, another southern favorite, lol
Bless his poor NY heart ...ahahahahahahaha...
Gonna love cooking for you two...that will be fun, especially seeing the looks on his face when he taste it, lol...have always seen the same expression, surprise and then a nod yes, because they were too busy filling their faces to talk ..lol.
I'll cook something that he will like no problem...I know something that no one can say no too...
