Today, I worked a little on Wicked Bedtime Stories and A Witch's Promise. Needed to take a break from the other books. It's gonna be funny if I finish them all at the same time cause I'm working on Thief of Hearts, Dark Moon Harvest and Elemental Seduction - Unearthly Pleasures. LOL

Per Silver Publishing, I sent the second book Elemental Seduction - Requited by Fire today. Waiting on the contract! Gotta hunker down and work on the next two with Earth and Water. Earth is called Unearthly Pleasures and Water is Sea of Love. Also, did some crunching on Thief of Hearts and Dark Moon Harvest. The creative juices are flowing although I'm still feeling a bit under the weather with whatever this sinus thing is that's going on. Ah well, life is still good. Oh, then I got a little sidetracked with my ongoing book Wicked Bedtime Stories. Think that will be ready before too long lol!!

Just got the final word today. Elemental Seduction - The Dance will be published Oct 2011! They have requested my second book ES - Requited by Fire this week! Moving faster than I thought. Hopefully, the two releases will be spaced out enough to allow me time to work on the last two books. Yayyy! Guess I'll have to back off on Dark Moon Harvest a little to get this done. It's all good though :)

It looks like my ebook Elemental Seduction - The Dance might get moved up for release this upcoming Oct instead of Feb 2012! They are interested in the second book Requited by Fire and we will probably stagger the releases! I will keep you posted.

Took dad out to eat for Father's Day which is always nice. Had a great time with Mom & Dad and my guy Kenny. It's so hot outside, so Kenny and I decided to grab some icecream yummmm. Now time to cool off in the house and hunker down to work. Second book of Elemental Seduction is ready so I'm ahead of the game with that. Still polishing off Dark Moon Harvest and it's taking a little bit cause I'm so anal about my own work. I edit my own stuff so you can imagine how that is. And I write in layers. Anyway, feeling pretty good about things today. Gave a writer some advice on query letters so that was good. We all need to stick together and help one another. Anyway, more later as it comes :)

Still working on Dark Moon Harvest. Really having a hard time deciding on whether to send it to Harlequin or Avon. Leaning more toward Avon since there seems to be less hassle in submitting. Still working on numerous other projects but that's how I like it.

You know, I wouldn't even be writing if it wasn't for the support of my loved ones including my friends. My family has been supportive, my boyfriend Kenny Coates has been wonderful, my children, and friends including Kim Dahlen (google her for her mystery/suspense books). Kim basically emailed me with a foot up the ass. When the other publisher folded and because of the divorce, I put my writing on the side. But Kenny supported me and Kim emailed me a foot up the ass lol. That's exactly what I needed! *Wink*

Not really too much to talk about today. About to get back into my Dark Moon Harvest and pick up where I left off. The biggest thing I need to do right now is concentrate on just one thing (DMH) because I feel the stories bombarding my brain. *BigSmile*

Well, during my down time at work, I managed to read/rewrite to chapt 8 in my Dark Moon Harvest book. Thinking about adding some more depth to it. The books that I would like to write following this one are Dark Moon Harvest - Hunted, Dark Moon Harvest- Awakening, Dark Moon Harvest - Gateway, Dark Moon Harvest - The Fallen, Dark Moon Harvest - Masters, and Dark Moon Harvest - Revolution. But these will take time. Dark Moon Harvest was previously published and already has an ISBN number. Guess when I submit it to another publisher, I will find out if the same one can be used or not. I expect the cover art will look different. I do like the current art. If you look to your left, you will see what the original artwork looks like.

Ok, back to work. There is much to do :)

Rogue Phoenix Press has contracted me for my Paranormal Western Erotic Romance ebook Soul Mate! I am excited and look forward to working with them on this as well as possible future books!

Silver Publishing has contracted me for my Erotic Fantasy Romance ebook Elemental Seduction - The Dance! I am also excited and look forward to working with them on this as well as possibly the other three books in that series. If accepted by them and completed, this could go to print!

Both ebooks will be available in February 2012! This should be an interesting month!

So...I'm focusing on these as well as continuing to write. The first book in Elemental Seduction is based on the element Wind. I'm finished writing the second one based on Fire but I may wait a few more months before submitting it. That leaves Earth and Water left to write. That's my project and focus with Silver Publishing. For Rogue Phoenix Press, I think I may continue with writing another paranormal ghost-based story possibly set a western theme to offer continuity. Hopefully, these two publishers will like my completed works. I find that the busier I am, the more productive and creative I become so multiple projects work very well for me.

The old publisher for Dark Moon Harvest (Cacoethes Publishing) folded upsetting me tremendously. They folded just before my two book signings came about. A bookstore in Orangeburg, SC was prepared to put my name up on their sign and host a huge book signing as well as ordering a large quantity of my books and placing them on the front shelves. I have to say that I was heartbroken about that experience because I met with them to plan this and they too were excited about having a local artist come in. The other book signing was arranged with a local coffee house in Lexington, SC because I loved the ambiance and thought that having it there would be perfect since books, art, internet, and coffee go so well together. Needless to say, we were both disappointed.

So, here I am...very excited about my two new publishers. I am also in re-write with Dark Moon Harvest. I'm ready to find a home for it. I'm leaning toward Harlequin Nocturne but I'll see. Haven't made up my mind. With this book, I also have a series with different main characters outlined for it. Busy, busy, and loving it. And yes. I work fulltime and as a nurse and will be taking some classes in the fall.
