Meditations of a christizen (christian-citizen)upon today's topics.

I, Brother James, cultivated through my imagination 'The Word Courier's Journal'. It is but one of several literary efforts so conceived to include the "Word", the mind altering, eye opening, lifesaving Gospel of Jesus Christ into the everyday conversation on those things deemed relevant to readers. I and all other followers of the Lord are called to witness. Jesus said "Go therefore and teach all nations..." (see Matthew 28:19 KJV Holy Bible) Here lies my modest attempt to introduce the unknowing people to the Lord and immerse they who know Him in discussion with respect to His outlook on all that matters.

Television sports commentator Colin Cowherd has often quipped be careful about "trying to be happier than happy." It's a twist on the grass looks greener on the other side.

The difference here is that he's saying this about people who like the grass in their yard. So if you like your grass, why would you try to get another yard for better grass?

It smacks of greed to me. But, I know we have those who can never be satisfied with anything. Nothing is ever good enough. When that's the case something is lacking within that can't be replaced from something outside.

The grass ain't always greener on the same side. And even if it seems that way now, that doesn't mean it will stay that way.
