Great entry! It has to be the common consensus that we all like chocolate the best, judging from the entries and my own palate. And I can certainly understand your trying to resist when you know there's a chocolate bar in the place. It happens to me, too.

I'm so with you on this. Without hope, no life would be left that could matter. We need hope like a pain-killer, be it for a short time, so it can carry us over a hurdle.

I wish I had started keeping a dream diary when I was young. A lot of my dreams are just "movies" but to have written them out, maybe I might've seen meaning or parallels. I've always been fascinated by those who have dreams like yourself!

I also have some lucidity to my dreams, mostly when they're really scary or something I don't want to deal with it. I don't have them often, but I can tell myself this is a dream and I want out and I can wake myself up. So I'm glad for that.

I will definitely check out your link! I appreciate you posting it! The Edgar Cayce dream dictionary, do you still use it/find it helpful?

I don't know if siri heard me telling my brother that I want to make a donation to either the Red Cross or the Salvation Army to help with the storms????BUT.....

The very next day.....I got a letter from the Salvation Army asking me to donate again to their Thanksgiving Meals! Strange right?

People were talking today about the word "Gloaming", and how good it feels in your mouth to say it. It reminded me of a retired professor I cared for in one of my Adult Foster homes. More than once, while waiting for a meal, she would stare out the window and recite this poem. I could see that she too truly enjoyed saying that word.

In the Gloaming

Prompt: forgiveness

What do you think about the prompt and/or do you think forgiveness is always a solution to problems?

I want to be forgiven for my misdeeds so my mind tells me I must forgive others for theirs. But sometimes, many times, I find myself not willing to let go.

Does forgiving mean it’s okay with me what happen? I am not okay.

I am not okay with greed or injustice. I am not sorry!

I am NOT open to forgiving a murderous heart.

I can forgive you for your judgements of me because I have made many of them, judgements. But I find it impossible to forgive those who judge others for their life situations. They don’t have a f…..ing clue the desperation, disappointment or situation that say a refugee has faced. My GOD can’t we Americans show some mercy?

As an afterthought, I feel I need to point out that it is unforgivable to judge others for their life situations when they seem to live "higher on the hog" than us. They have their moments of desperation, disappointments and pain too. We don't know where their blessings came from.
