Great entry! It has to be the common consensus that we all like chocolate the best, judging from the entries and my own palate. And I can certainly understand your trying to resist when you know there's a chocolate bar in the place. It happens to me, too.
I'm so with you on this. Without hope, no life would be left that could matter. We need hope like a pain-killer, be it for a short time, so it can carry us over a hurdle.
Hi Bernie
I am happy that you become lucid when you must. I remember how awful nightmares can be.

Yes, I might go to these sites but , if I really don’t understand my dream message, I run it past my daughter. She knows me best and we both might brainstorm with others. And it might be her dream venue.
I wish I had started keeping a dream diary when I was young. A lot of my dreams are just "movies" but to have written them out, maybe I might've seen meaning or parallels. I've always been fascinated by those who have dreams like yourself!
I also have some lucidity to my dreams, mostly when they're really scary or something I don't want to deal with it. I don't have them often, but I can tell myself this is a dream and I want out and I can wake myself up. So I'm glad for that.
I will definitely check out your link! I appreciate you posting it! The Edgar Cayce dream dictionary, do you still use it/find it helpful?
Great entry and Wow! Amazing that you dreamed about that horse! Then, maybe it is not, since the idea is--according to quantum whatever-- we're all connected.
People were talking today about the word "Gloaming", and how good it feels in your mouth to say it. It reminded me of a retired professor I cared for in one of my Adult Foster homes. More than once, while waiting for a meal, she would stare out the window and recite this poem. I could see that she too truly enjoyed saying that word.
In the Gloaming by Meta Orred
In the gloaming oh, my darling
when the lights are dim and low
And the quiet shadows falling
softly come and softly go
When the trees are sobbing faintly
with a gentle unknown woe
Will you think of me and love me,
as you did once long ago?
In the gloaming oh! my darling
think not bitterly of me?
Tho' I passed away in silence
left you lonely, set you free
For my heart was crush'd with longing,
what had been could never be
It was best to leave you thus dear
best for you and best for me
It was best to leave you thus ..........
Best for you and best for me ......
