Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |

| Some very sad news from Paris, France. The legendary and tourist attraction Notre Dame Cathedral caught on fire. It looks as if the Cathedral is going to be no more. What a shame. The historic building is 800, 900 years old and id irreplaceable. |
| Due to a lengthy power outage yesterday, I had to do a lot of work today. Yesterday, I woke up, headed downtown to get my taxes done. On Tuesday, I went shopping. I'm looking forward to the Blue Jay game tonight. |
| I went to church yesterday. I found out we found a new minister who is arriving in May. Unfortunately, we don't know were or how we're going to find a new music director. Our church;s longtime music director passed away last month at age 90. The lady who is providing the music now can't take over the responsibly. After church, I went out to lunch with my fiancé. |
| Had a great night at Fabulous Friday. It was 80's night. A good number of people were dressed in 1980's fashion. My fiancé was Don Johnson. As for me, I went as myself at 16. The dinner was fantastic. For dessert, someone brought a Pacman cake. I danced the night away to 1980's music. I had a ball. The event's committee had to scale things down this year because of rising costs, however, the event was still really good and fun. |
| I finally got out with my scooter yesterday. The wind chill was cold. I got a haircut and bought a couple pairs of pants. I don't plan to go back out on my scooter until next week. It is suppose to be double digits. |

| Hello. I'm back. Had a wonderful weekend with the fiancé. He phone me and asked me if I wanted to go to Fabulous Friday this week. i said yes. The only problem is I have to get money out of the bank this week. The event is $75. I wanted to go today, but we got more snow yesterday. |
| I was hoping to go downtown, but there is still ice in front of the shed. I won't have any new writing tomorrow. I'm spending the weekend with the fiancé. I'll be back sometime on Sunday afternoon. |
