A Story of Patience, Faith, and Divine Timing

In a lush forest nestled between two mountains, there stood a mighty oak tree, tall and wide, with roots deep in the earth and branches stretching proudly into the sky. Nearby, in the same soil, a tiny bamboo seed had been planted.

As the seasons passed, the oak tree grew rapidly. In just a few years, it towered above all the trees in the forest. Birds nested in its branches, and travelers rested in its shade. The bamboo seed, on the other hand, showed no signs of growth. Not even a sprout pierced the soil.

The bamboo began to despair.

"Why am I not growing?" it cried. "The oak tree grows tall and strong. Have I been forgotten by the Creator?"

Years passed. The bamboo remained hidden beneath the earth. Still, no sign of life above ground. Other plants bloomed and withered, but the bamboo seed stayed silent.

Then, in the fifth year, something miraculous happened. A small green shoot broke through the soil. In just six weeks, the bamboo grew over 60 feet tall.

The bamboo was astonished. "What happened?"

A voice whispered in the wind:

> "For five years, I was growing your roots. I needed to make you strong underground before I could let you rise. Had you grown earlier, you would not have withstood the storms to come. But now, with a deep foundation, you can rise swiftly and stand tall, just as I intended."

Moral:

Sometimes, it seems like nothing is happening in our lives, despite our efforts. But during those quiet times, God is building our roots—our character, our strength, and our resilience. When the time is right, we rise.
