| August 11, 2025 I am still trying to get over July and August just jumped in! Are the months moving faster? It seems that is the case. But maybe it is me, moving slower. Yes, that is it. I just turned 80 in July and I am still trying to get that in my head. I have out lived my sister, brother, mother and father. Not sure if this means anything. Just a reality. I find my energy is less and less. I am not making many of my goals (though not big). Even here at Writing.com, it has been hard for me to keep up with blogging, reviewing, and creating new reads. Kind of sad. However, I am trying not to beat up myself. Writing.com was to be for fun. I never had any goals for writing any particular thing. Poetry just sort of seem to be the thing I would try and stuck with it. I believe it is because I do not like long drug-out things. So, I am not the type to write a story. I play piano (still learning), chess and do jigsaw puzzles and play cards twice a week. On Friday nights there is karaoke. I try to keep busy but finding I am not keeping up with my home chores. Oh yes, there is the weeding outside that requires attention. Why sat you about your energy?? I would love to hear from you. Seabreeze  |
