Thoughts, we all have them. What is yours?

What is on your mind? I love all type of topics and will talk about almost anything! So, what is happening with you lately?

Come, tell me about yourself. What excites you about writing? What other things do you do: Art, music, animals?

Do you make them? I don't make a list but do go through my mind reviewing some of the thinks I need to pay attention to. I did go through some of my files, pulled out some old receipts that I could get rid of and shredded them. I cleaned my refrig, which I hate to do. Went through some clothing that I need to get rid of. I checked my calendar for birthdays, important schedules that I want to make sure my calendar is up-to-date on. Just some basic stuff.

Next, I think about what I want to do for the next quarter of the year, i.e., trips, family visits, fun events that we want to see, and so on. Then I review any housekeeping things like carpet cleaning, windows, special cleanings, etc. This way I don't feel overwhelmed with life. As we know, things can get in the way but I try to keep a step ahead of things.

So, how do you treat your new year? I would love to hear from you.

Oh, it has been awhile since I have been here! Why, not sure. Too much going on in my life I guess. This brings me to my recent visit to a friend, one I have known for 45 plus years. We live about two hours apart, I am 80 and getting on the freeways to go see her has been difficult. But, I made it yesterday and took a birthday gift to her. The visit was wonderful and we both felt like it was yesterday that we had seen each other.

My post here is to encourage you to go make that visit you have been putting off. You just do not know when your time is up or theirs. My dear friend is an artist and I got to review some of her work, which also brighten my day. I too paint and it just felt good to see another's works.

So, from me to you out there, make that visit you have been putting off.
