Short stories for the Musicology Anthology Challenge 2019
The album Blindfaller by Mandolin Orange is a powerful combination of lyrical brilliance and musical genius. I've chosen it for this challenge because this album, in particular, inspires me.

Mandolin Orange consists of husband and wife duo Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz.

The North Carolina based band appeals to me not only because of how awesome they sound but as a mandolin player, Andrew's picking is off the charts. Plus, I got to meet Andrew in person after one of their shows in Boise, Idaho...so, you know, I'm like their biggest fan...and stuff.

As per the challenge rules, I will write a short story for each of the song titles on this album. Each story will get its name from a song on the album. Lyrics to each song will be included at the top or bottom of each story.

Track List
1. Hey Stranger
2. Wildfire
3. Picking up Pieces
4. Lonesome Whistle
5. Echo
6. Cold Lover's Waltz
7. My Blinded Heart
8. Hard Travelin'
9. Gospel Shoes
10. Take This Heart of Gold
