Prompt: Tell us about a moment (or a few moments) in your life when you made yourself proud. What did you do that made you feel good about yourself? I am proud of myself for the weight I've lost. While I've yo-yo'd a little, I lost 28kg which is pretty impressive, if I do say so myself. I was proud of myself for writing and printing a children's fantasy novel called 'The Grand and Epic Adventures of Jayden and Caitlin'. I was proud of myself for completing diplomas in insurance and photography. I am proud of some of the poems and stories I have written over the years. I was proud of myself for compiling and printing a family recipe book. I was proud of myself for compiling and printing a family history book about Mum's parents and her siblings. I am proud of myself and Steve for the assistance we have given others in their times of need, for example our elderly neighbours, and some friends that we have helped out over the years. |
